The CMA partnered with the UM Departments of Art and Mechanical Engineering to form a study abroad program with the Hochschule Ulm
(Ulm University) in Ulm, Germany. Digital media and engineering students from both institutions have taken advantage of this exciting exchange program. UM engineering students generally go to Ulm in the fall to enroll in a program specifically designed for international students. UM graphic design and digital media students typically go to Ulm in the spring semester and enroll in courses alongside their German peers as well as study independently with Ulm’s exceptional digital media faculty.
Hochschule Ulm’s digital media program includes course offerings in animation, interactive video, media law, semiotics, typography, visual composition, design methodology, virtual reality, and motion capture animation.
